I am surprised that organic wine hasn’t become more popular. After all, grapes are one of the worst offenders for pesticide use and it seems safe to assume that a lot of those pesticides are going to end up in your wine glass. Foods such as bananas and avocados have a protective layer, which would somewhat shield your pesticide intake. Not so with the soft skin on grapes.
If there is one industry which I believe should move swiftly into all organic production, it would be the wine industry. A toast to a glass not full of pesticides and chemicals!
